VMLogin has been around longer than most and is Windows first, with a profile model that predates the current generation of cloud synced tools. A lot of its users run large local profile libraries on a single workstation.
Running many profiles from one machine means one outbound address unless each profile carries its own proxy. That is the single most common way a large local library gets correlated: perfect fingerprint isolation, one shared IP underneath.
Use a sticky port for profile work. A profile that changes IP mid session looks like a hijacked account, which is the opposite of what you want. Each sticky port holds one address for the session, so assign a different port per profile.
Rotating ports suit collection and crawling, where a new address per request is an advantage rather than a red flag.
Open the profile, pick HTTP or SOCKS5 in the proxy section and fill in host, port, user and password. VMLogin tests the connection on save and reports the exit IP.
Because profiles are stored locally, keep a mapping of profile to sticky port outside the tool as well. Rebuilding a machine without that mapping means reassigning addresses from scratch, which breaks the continuity every profile depends on.
