Where iX Browser specifically needs this

iXBrowser is lighter than most of the field and offers a usable free tier, which makes it a common starting point rather than an enterprise choice. It also bundles RPA style automation for repetitive in profile tasks.

Starting small is where address discipline usually slips. Ten free profiles all leaving from a home connection are trivially linked, and the automation features increase request volume from that one address rather than reducing it.

Rotating or sticky for profiles

Use a sticky port for profile work. A profile that changes IP mid session looks like a hijacked account, which is the opposite of what you want. Each sticky port holds one address for the session, so assign a different port per profile.

Rotating ports suit collection and crawling, where a new address per request is an advantage rather than a red flag.

Setting it up

Add the proxy in the profile creation dialog. iXBrowser accepts host, port, user and password inline, and offers a check button that reports the exit IP and country before you commit the profile.

If you use the RPA features, remember that automated sequences generate far more requests than manual browsing. A sticky residential port absorbs that better than a datacenter address, which is more likely to be scrutinised at volume.
